Rock and Roll Music Camp here in Katy TX

 

When: Monday August 6 through Friday August 10, 2012.

 

Where: AT the School of Rock 3750 S. Mason RD Katy TX Suite 800.

 

Time:The Camp starts at 9 AM and ends at 3 PM.

 

Camp for Whom: Children aged 9 -18 with experience playing instruments and love music. It is geared for musicians who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and sing.

Students attending will work in a hand on atmosphere where learning is promoted continuously. The classes will include:

·       Learning how to put on a live performance

·       How to setup band and studio rehearsal time

·       Having lots of good old fun

·       A live rock performance for all your friends, family, etc. at the end of the camp

·       Discussions of music theory and songwriting skills

·       A lot of individual instruction and on the spot clinics with professional

·       Team work and working with other young musicians

 

Cost: $465 per person

     Rock and Roll Music Camp here in Katy TX and what a great opportunity and camp for young aspiring musicians to attend. I heard Gene Simmons of the group Kiss today on a local rock station basically say there is no record industry anymore and he asked the question how will the young generation develop the next group like the Beatles, Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin come into existence. Gene Simmons has a point but maybe through camps like this the next super group of musicians, who will have profound influence on music, will arise. Personally, I grew up with rock and roll. I love the music and wish I had some music talent. Rock on all of you young guns!
