14 Comments on From Cautious to Confidence ~ Charlie and His New Home
Mona, I love Charlie's mustache. My Mama Cat has lived with her son, Snowball, pretty much forever, and he sort of ran away from home a couple of months ago. Snowball showed up in a neighbor's yard last week wearing a collar. She doesn't act like she misses him, but I sure do.
Yay, Charlie! What great pictures! So glad you've found each other and the little guy's adjusting well enough. Here's to many more happy times together.
Gretchen
so glad he is doing good. My skitty kitty has been ticked off at us for years for bringing dogs into the mix. She's been in the closet or under a bed unless the dogs are sleeping for 4 years. She came out the other night and plopped up on the sofa with Glen and gave him the "don't mess with me" eye and everything has been great.
Our dogs and cats live together pretty peacefully. Every now and then the dogs will chase the cats a little. The cats ARE NOT afraid. They will play along a little and then pretty much put an end to the nonsense! HA! :)) Love your kitty pictures. Glad he is doing so much better!!
Charlie or Chuckles as we like to call him, really is a love. Our darling Lazer, who passed from us last year, I know loved us but was not as overtly affectionate as Charlie. It's a different experience to have a cat that actively seeks out interaction and loves to be held.
Charlie looks like a cool cat and seems to be very happy in his new home instead of the guest house.
Hi Pat, his mustache gave him the name of Charlie Chaplin. He is a cutey, so was his son.
Gretchen, thanks so much. He is about 10 years old but acts like a very young dude.
Tammy, the only hiccup in our household is that Charlie sometimes takes the Office Manager's place on the sofa and now we have to have a sheet on the sofa to control the cat hair.
Joni, our cats have always ruled. In fact, the dogs know the very best approach is to never look the cats in the eye.
Leslie, sometimes all that overt affection is a touch on the annoying side. What's up with the battering ram head and the wet nose?
William, that is so sweet of you. I'm sure we aren't the best parents but we do try hard.
Charlie is a very cool cat and was also very happy in the guest house with his son. They loved it. He likes this too though.
Allen, he is a charmer and I'm sure you'd love him.
Good morning again Mona. Oh how this warmed my heart. I love the pictures and I can see the new confidence in Charlie. Such a handsome boy too.
Hi Mona-I am happy to see that Charlie has adjusted so well to living in your home with the dogs. Hope Leslie has adjusted as well to the fur. I have had my own adjustment recently but doing very well since this BLOG
Mona~ Charlie looks very content with his new home. I know it can be a challenging adjustment for cat.
Sheila, he really is one of the prettiest cats I've ever seen and ever so darned sweet.
Sharon, I just read your post about Shadow and am so happy you are letting her into your heart and home. You should take photos of her once a week and you'll be surprised at the change in her face.
Donna, the challenge was more for us I think, lol.
Mona, Charlie knew where to find a good home! I'm glad he's with you. He looks great.
Elyse, if its possible...he gets more handsome by the day.
