This was the scene, just last week when a realtor friend of mine in NC went into the office to put her license in referral.  She said she was shocked to see that there were already twelve agents in front of her, all doing the same thing due to lack of business!  WOW!  Reminds me of my good friend Mike Tullio's blog the other day when he described that he, like me, had lots of pre-approvals under wraps, but no one was buying.  I feel it.  I have 14 pre-approved buyers right now...not going anywhere....for the moment.  I heard a 30yr grizzled veteran of the industry complain that this was HER worst year ever.   Of course, you'd never know she was grizzled by her business card!

I think the next couple months are going to see things heat up with these lower rates and early warning detection systems being heard throughout the land.  What do you think?  In the mean time, if you bought last year with rates above 6%, give me a call...I may be able to do a No Closing Cost Refi for you!   Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Again, this Mike Tullio fellow sounds like a wellspring of knowledge.  Any ideas on how I can contact him?  Glad to hear you've got prequals Jim!  Those are the seeds.  Keep sowing and with rates in the mid 5% range, we will reap the rewards.  Refi boom, here we come!

Jim this is so sad.  It looks like this 60 minutes thing where I saw an old timer talking about the depressions and 'soup kitchens' and the 4 day old bread lines from people out of work during the depression years ago.  He had a great point, things are NOTHING like they were then.... we still have it made!

Lots of people are leaving the business, which is sad.  However that means that the business must go elsewhere.
