Hi Laura and Carole,

I am glad you liked my photo and the caption. Like I just said, it just popped into my head while taking the photo. So funny that they like each other and can live together as it seems the turtle could be a nice meal.

Hi David,

Also thought of the words strange bedfellows after the book and movie from years ago. The entire time I was there, they never moved except to open and  close their eyes'. So funny! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Saturday.

Hi Krsitin, Great title and certainly terrific photos. The Crocks look like they could easily take out the turtles. But I guess they don't care for the shells, LOL. I would not have figured any other animal would be safe with the crocs.

Hi Ken,

I thought the same thing; except that they all seemed very happy napping so maybe they have learned to live together??? I guess I should have put some inspirational paragraph in my post about us all getting along even though we have differences. Oh well...next time.

Hi William,

They have all these programs trying to get different animals and reptiles to live together so maybe these guys get along. But getting along and riding on their backs is two different things. Amazing but true!

Kristin,

Nice shot. Turtles and gators live in the same water here. :)

Hi Steve,

I was surprised as we think of gators beings mean and eating anything and everything in site but for some reason they must not like the taste of the turtles? Very interesting and amazing!
