Boating among the Gulf Islands


Holiday Weekend fun!

B.C. Day (first Monday in August) has been a summer holiday weekend for several years now, & is a major weekend for boaters.

Our weather is usually now an amazing summer style, & the ocean of these protected boating waters, on this coastal rim, is alluring & friendly...perfect for sailboaters & the power group.

Georgia Strait offers dramatic vistas & friendly anchorages...a time to explore the Salish Sea!

A stop at Ganges is always great...either on the way up to Desolation Sound discoveries or on the way back. Salt Spring Marina & Ganges Marina welcome you! Or, anchor in the Harbour & dinghy into the fun.

Artistic creation is everywhere to inspire you: ArtCraft, ArtSpring, Gallery 8, Salt Spring Gallery of Fine Art, Steffich Fine Art Gallery, Pegasus Gallery of Canadian Art.

Great foodie choices: Harbour House Hotel (farm to plate), Piccolo's, Hastings House, Salt Spring Inn, Auntie Pesto's, Treehouse Cafe...enjoy!

Live music nightly at Treehouse Cafe, Salt Spring Inn on Sat, Moby's throughout weekend...wow!

Saturday Market in the Park...of course. A feast for the senses.

This might be "the" summer weekend of the whole season...don't miss out!
