Summer is a time of ease...swimming in a lake, tubing on a river, kayaking in the Islands, enjoying a picnic in a park or relaxing by camping at the oceanside...lots of choices.

The French have a lovely expression: being at ease in one's skin. That sums up summer to me....

On the Pacific Northwest Coast, it's a short season...& very alluring. A meshing of sea & sky & mountains...beaches, islands...environmental beauty!

Mid-July to mid-October is "the season". Short & sweet!   This La Nina year of "weird weather" has made it even shorter.

So, what haven't you done yet that you looked forward to?
