Politicians Should Take A Page From Our Book....Google My Name!!

As I drove through the center of Franklin MA today, I couldn’t help but notice the political signs for state representative.There are political supporters standing in the median in the roadway holding political signs, as well as signs planted along the state highway in the grass strip in front of storefronts.It’s evident who has the most political backing in Franklin MA by the visibility of his signage.He’s sure to win this election, in my opinion.

Politics and real estate have many similarities when discussing marketing with the exception of negative advertising.  Politicians should take a page from our book and have riders that say "Google My Name." 

I’m a firm believer that the real estate agent with the most signs will have the best chance of securing the most listings in town.There are many homeowners who do not have any affiliation or familiarity with any real estate office or agent, and those are the potential clients who will remember the name on the sign.

If an agent has more than one sign on a street and/or in a neighborhood, it will appear that the agent’s name on that sign is the agent who “owns the town.”We make sure there is a sign and riders that market each property we have listed.It’s one of the best marketing methods and it’s free advertising.It’s a marketing method that I consider the reward for listing each property.

I’m a firm believer in integrating all of my marketing.Each of our listing signs has a rider that says “Google this address.”Signage is a very important part of marketing and signs should be interwoven with other forms of marketing.Our signs are integrated with our online marketing for each listing.

A Google search for each address will result in the majority of the titles on the results page belonging to The Kuney-Todaro Team with several different blogging platforms exposed and available for further investigation by potential clients.

Marketing is a task that must have no voids.It should be continuous and completely integrated so that one method links to another method.The bridge must never be open ended.You’ll lose the clients if they fall into the abyss.  It's your job to keep them on track to find you.
