What does your dining room say? Home Staging in St Augustine.
I was hired to stage an occupied home in the St. John's Country Club. My goal was simple - maximize the equity for the homeowner. After my initial home staging consultation, it was obvious that the big problem with this home was that the furnishings didn't quite match the home or buyer's expectations.
This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, priced in the mid $300s, did not feel like a country club home for a young family.
Since the buyer will probably be in their mid 30s to 40s, with a good income, faux tapestries, Target slipcovers and a Walmart silk plant just wouldn't do. (Actual MLS photo used above.)
It didn't take much to transform the space. By adding rented artwork, a table runner, a couple of silk plants, and some more modern chairs, this dining room was completely transformed.
By taking the photo from the other direction, you can more easily see the curved architecture and open space of this home's layout.
So what do you think? Did our home staging help to appeal to the St Augustine family?
