Each year, communities across the United States come together to spend an evening with their neighbors at National Night Out. This year, National Night Out will be on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012. National Night Out is a neighborhood-based crime and drug prevention event to show neighborhood spirit and strengthen partnerships with local Fairfax County police. Your local Fairfax community may be planning a night of food, activities, and other events to meet your neighbors and have fun! During National Night Out a Fairfax County police officer may visit your neighborhood, which is a great opportunity to get to know them and ask any questions.
