Speechless Sunday (almost!): Sunny disposition.

Speechless Sunday (almost!): Sunny disposition.

Through cloudy skies and rainy days, one thing is certain, this flower maintains its sunny disposition. A crowd pleaser at every turn, casting light even in the darkest of circumstances. How could anyone look at this beauty and resist the urge to curve the corners of the lips upward?

Happy Sunday to you all!

As a kid I saw sunflowers everywhere, not so much any more..............wonder why, they are lovely.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Wanda- I remember when we visited Kansas and there were sunflowers everywhere.   This flower would brighten even the cloudiest day.

Roger, My husband planted some of these swaying giants in the garden this year. The smaller variety grow wild along the roadways here in southern Utah.

Wanda, I have driven past fields of sunflowers and it is truly special to see them all facing the sun and following it through the day. Thanks for sharing

I wish we had bought this house a few months earlier so we could have had a garden this year. That is one thing we are disappointed in this year.

Wanda,  once again I am late in reading this post.  It does remind me of my mother's beautiful garden.  Sunflowers were one of her best prize flowers and only grew them so the birds would come to enjoy.  Thanks for the memory trigger.
