Chris and Dick, Happy to help out! Even our rescue Chihuahua likes the cats :)
What a great cause. Congrats on this post and for being involved!
Glad to hear the event was a success and that you had a great time! I LOVE our SPCA here, which is a no-kill as well.
You have a big, warm heart - I can tell. :) What a great project and a fun way to raise money to support the animals that can't support themselves! thank you!
Glad it was a success. Again, hats off to you for helping with this charity. There are far too many animals being neglected and abused.
Hi Bliz, I am glad you had some Fun bowling for the kitties, and it was great that the sponors raised enough money to support this great cause. What a great effort for all those kitties.
Charlie, Thanks! We help out where we can.
Shannon, Glad yours is no-kill. Unfortunately our local SPCAs aren't no-kill, so it's up to organizations like OAR to fill the gap.
Joy, It was fun! OAR does a great job promoting the cause, and it's really cool to see their Facebook updates announcing each newly adopted cat :)
Bobbie, It's a Pay It Forward type thing, they've helped us, we're helping them, and hopefully the blogging helps bring them more attention and help.
Jerry, They recovered most of the cost of the stolen AC unit from back in July, so a pretty successful evening all in all.
What a great way to raise money to help an important organization Bliz.
Did we gat any video of you at the lanes? :)
Melissa, Flat fee worked for us definitely! Our 2nd game scores dropped pretty hard and they'd have gotten off easy!
Tom, No video, although the organization took some photo for their FB page. We're about 1" tall in them since we were on the 1st lane and far away from the photographer :)
Sounds like a fun time and all for a good cause. Good stuff BLiz!
Glad you were able to have fun for a good cause.
Jared, Definitely fun, even with all those gutterballs left and right :)
Cindy, Definitely something we'd be willing to do again.
Bliz, what a great way to support a "No Kill" shelter. I hope it brought in a lot of money to keep the shelter going.
Well done! It is a great thing to help raise funds for no kill shelters. I am sure the cats will be thankful...purrfect!
Michael, $1700 so far, and we expect more as some of the pledges start arriving.
Gary, It was a purrfect event to particpate in :)
I think this is a great way to raise money for the kitties, I may have to suggest that idea here locally.
Kathy, A good turnout and decent money raised, and everyone had fun. A win-win for sure!
BLiz- that's the way to have fun and support a very worthy cause. I used to bowl, decades ago while I wasn't that good, I always provided a good laugh for everyone.
Kathy, We'd venture that most of the folks there were not regular bowlers and just having fun with their fundraising :)
