29 Comments on Maryland Summer Flowers: Photowalking in Kentlands
Roy, img_2048 and img_2049 are spectacular and img_2051 is sublime. All are rarely, if ever, seen in my neck of the woods.

Hello Roy --- photowalking is the perfect way to multi-task: exercise, enjoying a summer day and capturing what we see with our camera. Nicely done.
Roy, the bumblebee was my favorite! Yet, when I look at the lotus flower, it takes me to my trips to Hawaii and makes me yearn for that group of islands...
I didn't know that there was another bug on here til I got back to my computer--a nice bonus!
Hi Roy. How could anyone not love these flowers?
Thanks so much for your comments. Special thanks to Gayle for the beautiful photograph.

Roy, the great thing about walking is that not only do you get to enjoy the beautiful nature that God has given us but you are also building muscle and burning up fat cells. You don't need any fancy equipment either to go out and have a good healthy walk.
Okay Roy.... Stop showing off.... I am totally inspired by you and your photos and your 3000 plus posts... I go for a walk with my little dog in the AM camera in hand just as you instruct.... but I am embarrassed to leave you my pictures for you to see... but I said I would so here goes... "Judge not that yea be judged"
I'll take constructive criticism!
Roy,
I just love the unusual color of the hibiscus, but I do love Mr. Bee on the daisy! I hope you are having a wonderful week!
Roy: Wonderful flower photos; thank you for sharing.
The bee sure is enjoying a find drink of nectar.
Mr Roy,
I really like your idea and heaven knows I need exercise. Plus now I enjoy taking a bunch of pictures. I include poictures of flowers in my arary of shots. My photgraph is not great but who cares.. Its fun..
It is always good to hear from you. I appreciate your feedback.
Bob: We will be watching for your photographs.
Richard & Beth: Great shot of the daylily. Keep up the good work. I am still using iPiccy.com for photo editing.
Paula: I started walking years ago for the exercise. The camera in an add on of recent years.
It is fun to try to capture the bees on the flowers.

Roy enjoying nature sure takes the focus off of the "doldrums" of exercise and making it more fun and exciting while lookingg for, pointing out and taking pictures of the beauty. You have inspired my nightly walk to something I want to do.
It is always good to hear from you. I appreciate your feedback.
Have an outstanding weekend.
