I have been back for over a month now.  But in truth, I've been back for two moths now.  It takes 4 weeks to create a habit....both good and bad. My internet was down for two months and it created such a bad habit that when I finally got my internet back, my bad habit was really well established.  I tried to come back, but in truth, it took me over 1 month to get back into the swing of things.   I had to force myself to get back into it, but now that I forced my discipline to do it....it feels really good to be back in.

Thanks Active Rain....I'm back and I have a bit of my sanity back....

Or a bit of my INSANITY!!!!

You are right.  Blogging on the internet is a habit that is created.

Can definately understand that.  Its like a vacation.  Its hard to relax and when you finally have its over.  Then its hard to back in the game.  We are all in the same boat.

Larry, glad you're back!  I agree, it's been 2 months since my mishap and I haven't been able to think, much less blog.  I think I will just let you be my inspiration!

Welcome back Larry.  Two months with no internet.  If that happened at my house I would have to spend most of my waking hours at the nearest Starbucks.

Two months is an really long time to be without the internet, especially if you are as accustomed to it as we are.  Your words remind me of what it's like to vacation in Hawaii.  For the first few days after landing there, it seems difficult to slow to their pace.  Hurry isn't in the Hawaiian vocabulary:-)   But then you do adjust to it, you enjoy and love it.

You endure cultural shock once again upon returning home.  Funny thing though, it only takes a couple days to get accustomed to Hawaii, but it takes a good week to adjust to mainland pace.  You're right, really "bad" habits can be difficult to break:-)
