Why not see the glass as half full instead of half empty?

Home Stager with Shaken...with a Twist 216.633.2092

A pessimist is one who feels bad when he feels good, for fear he'll feel worse when he feels better.

Now isn't that a true account of a pessimist.

Lets all put on our optimistic hat and be extremely positive about everything we do today.

Why not see the glass as half full instead of half empty?

BARFF-yep...I'd rather see the positive in things, and yes it is contagious. Unfortunately so is negativity but a smile usually takes care of that.

Thanks Irene.

Wishing you the same James, thanks so much.

And sometimes you don't Joanna, but that's okay too, sometimes we don't always wish for what is best for us.  How was Chicago with the boys?  Did I miss a blog about it?

It's easy to be optimistic when you're Switzerland................love you BARFF!

I like that idea BLiz, I'll keep it in mind.

Good for you Rebecca, that's the right attitude.

So Willy happened for a reason Sheila?  LOL....................I'm all for a half full glass of scotch!

I do like Sharon's comment. I'm always the optimist. I don't know where that came from, but it's hard to keep me down.

Sharon stole my line! Lol -    Actually Roger, it is just so true isn't it?  Glass half full - put on a happy face, turn that upside smile around -  regardless of what we call it, a positive outlook works magic in our own lives, and those lives we touch.

Some of us need constant reminders to have a positive attitude.  It is so easy to slip into a negative mood.

Have an outstanding week and be sure to have your camera in hand when you are out and about.

I love Sharon's comment Debbie, it is so true.  I'm pretty optimistic most of the time.

That Sharon is on top of things Debb..........so here's how it is with me.  All my life, I've been called a pessimist.  Why?  Most people don't get me.  I consider myself a "realistic optimist"..........I don't walk around with my head up my butt and looking at the world through rose colored glasses.  I see things as they are, some good, some bad, but try to find the good in everything by staying realistic.  Make sense?  It does to me.  Not sure why it took me so long to say that this morning.

You are so right Roy...........thanks for stopping by today.

Damn, I knew there was a very good reason I clicked with you MM and think you are so fabulous, I'm the same way.  Many people think I'm a pessimist because in reality, I am a "realist", just like you!  We rock!  LOL.  Just keep being who you are, I love it!
