Does anyone have a way to climb back into saddle after a short hiatus?

How do you get motivated after two weeks without ActiveRain?

An interesting question don't you think?

I recently got back from a boating trip to Canada.  I spent two weeks with my wife in the gulf islands of British Columbia.  In many areas there  is no WIFI or cell servers and although it sounds like heaven to be off the grid for what seems like forever, the stress of not being connected is relentless.  Your iPhone goes completely silent however the battery life is incredible.

When I got back into range I had 325 emails.  Out of those 325, only 19 had any importance to my life or business.  But what I missed most in my hiatus was ActiveRain.

I had nothing to post, so I came back as the reader.  I have commented briefly and now feel that I should contribute and get back in the good graces of my subscribers.

Does anyone have a good way to climb back into saddle after a short hiatus?

Paul congrats on being two weeks out of the loop:)) I could not handle more than three days, I would be more stressed vs relaxed. My Answer is start putting in extra time and effort in comments and blog post....but what do I know. I would never have this dilemma!:)))

Paul:  I would guess that the easiest way back would be to write about your vacation.  I am sure it was so incredibly beautiful in the islands of British Columbia that you should have about ten posts just sitting in the memory part of your brain just waiting to escape to Active Rain.

You just know we'd love to see all of those gorgeous sights.  And remember... whatever speed you choose to crank these posts out... is exactly the correct speed for you!

This post just might stimulate some great discussion amoung folks with either similar problems... or who have answers for you... so I have "suggested" it.

Paul, Not sure I could handle two weeks off the grid without having a serious withdrawal issue!  I'm so used to daily updates it's become a habit.  As far as blogging topics, there's always local events and market reports :)

Wow, after a great trip like that I don't think I would be thinking about AR.  But, we have to get back in the swing of things sooner or later.  You force yourself!

BLiz, One sure fire way to be off the grid is to have an associate you trust with your business, Thanks Bill King! I sleep better too!

I'm not sure what would happen if I was without blogging for two weeks. I would think in those two weeks you took your camera and that alone would get you back in the game.
