The Dash

We watched "The Dash" at the Keller Williams Quantum Leap with Mo Anderson in the beginning of December and I think everyone should see it. The short movie has been done so well and it definitely hit me hard. As you watch it, think about how each line applies to your life. What should you be doing different? I have a friend whose name is Don and his last name actually has abc in order in it which has nothing to do with my comments I just think it is unusual. Anyway he sent me "The Dash" a few months ago. So interesting to hear how people react to it. I sent it along to my Dad who's time in the dash may not be as long as the rest of us but, he is making a bigger impact than I am right now. He has seen his mark on the dash and chose to change it. When people ask me who I look up to or where are my mentors, I always mention my parents all 4 of them. My Dad and step-Mom drive for the unit on aging which gets people who can't "take themselves" to the doctor, to visit the cemetary, to visit the nursing home where a loved one may have relocated or whereever. He lives in a snowy place-they chose to retire in Northern WI so he is out there doing things that I personally hate to do: scrape windows and shovel snow to help others. Truly a better person than I am today, I do aspire to be that kind of person, I just hope it's some place warmer when I do! BRRRRR

The Dash is published by Simple Truths and I am a huge fan of all of their work. My most favorite is "The Strangest Secret," by Earl Nightingale. I listen to the CD in my car constantly and have given it to many clients. Get it! It will change your life!
