The market is off to a great start this January.  Contrary to what you hear on the news, I have hopes that this will be a good year in real estate.  Everyone at my office is off and running, either showing buyers properties, having open houses or prospecting.  We are all looking forward to a good year and I think that is something we all need to believe.  I firmly believe that part of the problem with the real estate market is media driven.  Since all you hear and read about is the decline in the real estate market, that is what the public believes.  The truth is that rates are excellent, there are many very nice houses for a buyer to choose from and it is a great time to buy.  It's still a great time to sell, you just have to be creative and place your listing aggressively in the market place.  The listing pictured is in East Goshen.  3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths on 1 acre with hardwood floors and a garage.  Recently reduced to $339,900.  One acre in East Goshen!!  For this price?  It's a great time to be a buyer so I am not sure what buyers are waiting for.  The last time we had a buyer's market, a lot of buyers kept waiting, hoping that prices would drop even further.  Some lost out when out of nowhere, boom!  Back to a seller's market.  Real Estate is like that.  To view this listing, email me at susanmangigian@verizon.net.  RE/MAX PREFERRED 610-719-1700
