Having a strong curisioty about this matter, it seemed appropriate to ASK you, the people. You have heard the quote from the bible: Ask and you shall receive. So I am excited to hear the comments from those with a license, and if you wish, how long in the business, and how many homes you sell on average in a year.
Maybe another interesting question is why people get OUT OF REAL ESATATE? However I doubt if many would choose to respond to that question. Having passion and desire in this business creates happiness, joy and success.
And in what way is it NOT what you expected. There are very few hours that go by in a day that my mind is not on real estate in some way. Even on Sunday, those thoughts come to mind. I often jot a note while in worship in order to get my mind off the subject and back on the sermon.
It has been a very exciting part of my life. Some of the most fun, most exciting events in my life have came from some area or a real estate transaction. After all I have worked with over 1,000 families successfully. Actually this arena gives you the opportunity to in a way interview people, ask questions, talk with them often on a very personal basis. WHY PEOPLE GET A REAL ESTATE LICENSE.
A Realtor in a class last week with me said, she was uncomfortable in calling people on the telephone. Immediately I said to her: "you need to get out of the business!" It is very common for my Droid II to have about 100+ calls per day. No sir I am not afraid of the telephone, after all it does not have teeth, and when you initiate the call it can make for a quicker way to end the call as well.
For me: money has been one of the reasons, however the flexibility of my time, to work when I want, and to take off any day of the week and play golf holds great appreciation for the business. WHY PEOPLE GET A REAL ESTATE LICENSE.
