Otis Elementary School supply list for third grade

It’s time for our children to go back to school. School will begin on August 27 in for school in the Alameda Unified School District.  That means that there are 3 weeks of summer left.   

For parent whose children attend Otis Elementary the school supply list for third graders is out. All students should have a standard size backpack with their name inside. No rolling backpack, binders or pencil boxes.

Third Grade

back to school cartoon1 bottle of white glue
2 large glue sticks
1 pkg of No. 2 pencils
1 pkg thick washable markers - classic colors
1 pkg thin washable markers - classic colors
1 pack of baby wipes
2 pkg of wide ruled binder paper
1 ream of white copy paper
1 pkg of large post-its 3x3”
3 folders with pockets
1 single black composition book 7x9”
2 pink pearl erasers
1 box Kleenex
1 roll of paper towels
1 fine tip black Sharpie pen
1 deck of playing cards

Since I don't have youngsters anymore I don't know what is going on at schools.  I remember that my daughter started school after labor day.  I think there are more holidays now, so the school year has to be longer.  Was this post featured.  I have to check.  Thanks.
