So what Happened to the big Volcano at Kid's Kingdom?

IT'S GETTING A MAKEOVER!!

For a while many here in Redding, CA have been wondering what's happening over at Kid's Kingdom and its iconic Fantasy Fountain, especially during these long, hot summer days!

I realize times have been tough for our local economy but really? No Fantasy Fountain, just before summer! BUT NOT TO WORRY...It will be back, this time just safer.

Anybody with young children (including myself) have terribly missed Kid's Kingdom Fantasy Fountain, one of Redding's unique recreation places, especially if you're a child!

For those new to Redding, Kid's Kingdom is located next to Enterprise Park in South-East Redding and if you go today, you'll still see the wooden fortress but not the famous volcano! The spray features, water cannons and rumble of pending volcanic eruption have generated thousands of exciting squeals, laughter and good memories over the course of 10 years.

Makeover In Progress

I'm pleased to report that Fantasy Fountain is recreating itself, it's getting a makeover, complete with a NEW VOLCANO and WATER SPRAY PARK! The goal: A safer and efficient place for our children.

Built over ten years ago, through the creativity and tenacity of community volunteers, Fantasy Fountain is a Redding landmark and tradition for many children and families. Join us as we help "re-create" Fantasy Fountain for our community and be a part of this tradition that brings happiness to so many, including parents!
