Dirty secrets of a CEO and his national real-estate website company!

Brakes applied hard please, the real-estate industry needs better mandates to insure we don’t let a “lipstick” CEO of a national real-estate websites to practice deception!

A rouge “quack” national real-estate website company and its anonymous small group are on the loose, and everyone from the stockholders down to most every single home-owner in the United States is affected negatively by this CEO and his rouge national real-estate website company. It’s wrong for this CEO to implement bad deceptive policies, “trying to build traffic by intentionally causing drama is injudicious at best”. It’s a really poor scheme that’s been in-play by this “so called” national real-estate website, they’re working over on the real-estate industry; “what the heck is going on, let’s put the brakes on this quackery”!

It seems there’s a certain CEO that submits to the policy that matches those very late night real-estate infomercial; you know the ones which solicit to chumps believing they can become successful real-estate investors with ZERO money down! I do feel sorry for the many unsuspecting desperate individuals that get pulled into such deceit.

Just like I would like to see the person held responsible that buys TV air time and uses it for deception, the CEO & his national real-estate websites that covertly uses deception should be held accountable for their actions as well, “using intentional deceptive methods to gain traffic to its website is acting in bad faith”. I’m convinced the get rich quick plans are the worst plans, just as I’m positive we need to put the brakes on with extreme force when it comes to intentional deception, there’s a rouge CEO that’s leading a national real-estate website by way of deceit. Real-estate is not a hobby, it’s a business, real-estate is not entertainment it’s a business. Let’s keep deception far away from the real-estate industry and put a stop to a rouge CEO and his national real-estate website, we should not allow this deceptive behavior to exist, it’s disastrous allowing a national real-estate website company to practice deceptively! Think about what’s right and then do it; I say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”

you lost me. I have no idea what deception you are talking about who what national (I assume sydication) site you are talking about. I think the general public all takes them with a grain of salt and only uses them for looking for a home. And I believe that if they make contact with an agent who has IDX they can be guided to understand that is a much more accurate place to do said home search.

Tammy~ I'm very "SORRY" I don't have (permission) to tell you exactly who I speak about, nor can I tell you the national real-estate website company that's uses deceptive methods as a general practice. This one particular CEO & Company uses practices that should not be ignored! Unfortunately this CEO and Company is a true master of hiding their deceptive business practices as they're working over the real-estate industry!

no need to aplogize Jon. But I do wonder why you would post this on a public post. I would think it more consumer friendly and wise to write a post about your own non deceptive practices and the value you offer consumers. And forgive me if it seems I'm being ugly, it's my intent to be helpful.

But I think it's better to share what you can offer than to make vauge comments about the wrong doing of others. I just don't see how this post helps you. And if you wish to delete my comment I would completely understand. I don't mean to be harsh. I just see no benefit to you in this type of post.

Tammy~ I think your opinion is one that needs to count, I actually thinks it’s beautiful when you're being helpful and sharing opinions about the way I posted this idea! Please remember everything you suggest, I will embrace!

I think what happened to me should

NOT happen to anyone else! I am not being misleading or untruthful, and I feel there's a big problem that needs addressing in the real-estate industry, all I seek to gain is transparency?, if you & others don't mind this CEO & website deceiving others, so be it!

Just so you can hear my view, I have no other choice, I have to be vague, I wish I could tell you, the world, (private & public) my experiences I had with this CEO and company, but they have gone to extreme marring measures to keep me quite???? “There’s a reason I'm disconnected and can’t just freely express my experience and knowledge, just like there's a reason I chose to post this topic....

I respect you haven’t found this information useful, I hope you can respect I find this information very important! BTW~ if what has happened to me, happen to you, I’m confident you would see things differently. I’m confident this information is hard to digest, but I don’t think there’s any argument gaining traffic on a national real-estate website by deceiving homeowners and getting them mad so they enter your website is crossing the line. Its total deception having small picked handful “anonymous” individuals answering most questions asked by real-estate consumers on their site? I hope you see something erroneous with national real-estate website that allows/has top contributors even be allowed to be “anonymous”, especially when countless others like myself complained to the national real-estate website about these anonymous top contributor that spread lie after lie but still exist as their “BEST-TOP CONTRIBUTORS”?

I agree if a bad thing happened to you sharing it with other agents is a noble cause and I applaud that. But perhaps sharing with agents should be a members only post. Public posts should speak to consumers and make them want to hire you. You always have to consider every public post has the potential to be someone's first impression of you. I wouldn't want for you to potentially turn off someone with a message that it important to your industry that I feel you are saying is directed at other agents. Maybe I misunderstand and you are directing it at consumers.

But I think you could make a gentler version only telling people to stop and consider the source of contributors being faceless and nameless and therefore not held accountable and have it be a "when I tell you something you can see who I am" and I can show you where my information comes from and make it a positive for your business and not just your opinion of people hiding behind anonymity.

My concern is not that your message isn't true. My concern is what potenial clients are going to read between the lines and sometimes that first impression is the only one we get. Just something for you to consider.
