9 Comments on A Letter To The Parents Of My First Time Home Buyers In Fort Wayne.
It is so true that the outside party (parent) try to advise from a distance. It is because they care about the one they are advising.
I think I'd go with "Me" before You and Amanda.............. well, You anyway! LMAO! Great letter to the parents. The next letter should be to nosey friends and relatives who think they know more than you do. How about it?
Elite Team: Agreed. We are definitely sensitive to that fact.
Roger: HA!!! You are too funny my friend. A series of these might be a darn good idea! I could write a letter to potential future sellers, local lenders and title companies about my expectations, and my buyer's friend's neighbor's cousin's dog Spot. I'm on it! :)
Jared and Amanda- I'd bet you and other agents get a lot of the concerned parents just wanting to protect their children and in doing so making your work a little harder! Good letter!
Actually we call them the parets from hell. I love when they say I bought my house for $35,000 I usually tell them wow I'll give you $50,000 for it. Nice profit.
Kathy: That's as true as it gets. We know that they are definitely trying to help, but their kids are in good hands with us!
Liz: I have faced off with a couple of parents from hell. LOL! I know their intentions are good, but times have changed.
Thanks for stopping by everybody!
Jared early on in my career I used to have those over protective folks....and it was always interesting learing to work with them and making them part of the process and getting them (hopefully) to trust that I knew what I was doing. You're doing a GREAT job....I'd trust my kids with you any day of the week!
Looking forward to every one of them my friend, have a good time writing them, I know we'll have a good time reading them!
Great perspective Jared. Don't you just love involved parents?
