East Providence schools start again on Sept 6th.
It's that time of year again, parents. The kids go back to school and the homework begins. I know you probably feel like I do that the summer flew by!
I thought I would compile some information you may find helpful when sending the kiddie's off to school this year.
First things first, here's the full year calendar for the 2012 -2013 school year.
If you are new to the area Riverside and Rumford are part of East Providence and follow the same calendar. The East Providence School District website is a great resource when looking for specific information about the individual schools, goals and plans for the district, school committee members, student handbooks, supply lists, school lunch programs etc.
The East Providence School District is made up of 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 high school, 1 career & technical center, and 1 early learning center.
For those of you looking forward to Fall football I've included a link to the Townie football schedule.
East Providence also has a few private and parochial schools.
The Gordon School is nursery through 8th grade. Classes begin on Sept 5th. I've included the full year calendar.
The Providence Country Day School - Classes begin Sept 5th. Full year calendar.
Normally, the parochial schools begin 1 week earlier than the public schools in East Providence.
