The Benefits of Live Video to Show Your Listings

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with HouseLens.com

Saving you and your clients money is job one for everyone.  It promotes you in the eyes of your clients and their friends and family and it streamlines your operations and your budget.

There are plenty of tools and ideas out there that enable you to reach and excite potential customers. The key for me is what will truly grab a client’s attention and keep them riveted long enough to want to learn more.

In our age of constant access to television and movies via numerous online distributors (Hulu and Netflix are the most well-known as is iTunes) along with a long history of television and movie consumption, video is one of the top draws for people online.

The value of online video is that it lowers barriers and easily introduces concepts and products, especially something emotional and exciting like homes and property. By enabling a visual walk-through of a property, you connect people to your listings in an emotional and real way even before they set foot in the door.

There are other great reasons to use video:

Search engine rankings go up rapidly when using live videos!

Why? Videos keep people on your site longer, and Google is ranking sites that are rich with multimedia content far higher than those without. Videos are now a MUST for any business concerned with SEO (search engine optimization), conversion rates and brand identification.

Save you and your client’s money on gas by cutting driving in HALF using live video walk-through tours.

How? Just make sure your prospects have watched your live video walkthrough tour before you make an appointment to show them your listing. You'll find that will close your deals in half the number of showings this way, saving gas, time and protecting the environment.

One thing you should know is these are NOT "real estate virtual tours"!  (Live Video Walk-Through)

A virtual tour is nothing more than a series of photos stitched together with titles and a sound track, while live VIDEO TOURS will be video walk through of your property listing just like walking through an open house.

Clients can use their iPhone or iPads and other Smart Phones to view these videos.

Videos can be viewed on electronic devices such as iPads, iPhones, and other mobile tech devices by using QR codes, saving clients time and money that allows them to make decisions on a house from the comfort of their own home.

When you use video tours, and upload them on YouTube, MLS, realtor.com you can link these videos on Craigslist, embed the videos on Facebook and play the videos on your real estate website.

I hope this information has been helpful and I would love to hear about your thoughts and experiences with video.

Great points.  On my to do list is to begin adding more videos to both my listings and my blogs.  Glad to here the Google rewards you for the effort.  What is that old saying a picture is worth a thousand words.

Sandy, Thank you for that nice comment.  Video really is changing the way we do business in all industries. It's especially been helpful when realtors have been using our Full Motion Video Walk-Throughs attached to their listings because clients get to view a movie of the house in a way different then anyone else is doing videos.

We use steady cams attached to professional cameras that takes a professional to operate that's why our videos are steady as we walk through a home.

Clients love watching the videos from the comfort of their homes not having to waste as much time and mony on gas because it's like they are really there walking the home with the video. We are excited because we are growing fast where so many realtors get it and understand how powerful and effective this tool can be to market your listings and for new business.

I'm always available to consult with if you have any questions about our product.

You can view our commercial to see what our product looks like at www.houselens.com

Hi Reuben,

I agree there is nothing like a client seeing the property in person.

What video does do is bring a more serious client to the property that has viewed the video. Main reason is because they will already know all about the home when they stop by to see it.

This is the one of the biggest comments we get from agents who use our walk-through video services.

Please watch our live video commercial at www.houselens.com

If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Hi Charlie,

It's great when I meet agents who get the concept about using video.  Glad to hear you are having positive results from it.

We have had quite a few agents who've used our video walk-through services sell their listings sight unseen.

So video is making a tremendous impact on agents business.
