Oh my goodness, what a bizarre story and set of coincidences. It's funny how life brings people together sometimes.
Wow, Stephanie,
what a story to tell.. What can I say, our business is a fun business. You always meet all kinds of people.
Oh my. This is a people business for sure! All kinds.
Very strange story....
Be prepared for Mary to show up back in your life. . .specially right after you complete the short sale. .
Sonja, Mary actually was a referral from a young lady who works for a company that refers me business. She told me she was a single mother recently divorced that needed a little side work while she was working for permanent employment. I have always had great referrals from this company. Who would of thunk it!
Jeff yes the names have been protected. I surely do not want her popping back up!
Story Strange - Yes, I felt like I was in the twilight zone and why did the seller have to be so brutually honest with me about it. I could have gone without the knowledge but then again I may have called Mary or sent her a thank you card. No communication is the best method and I really hope I do not hear from her again.
Katerina and Petra - thank you...I learned it from the best out there:)
Yikes, I hope your client doesn't leave a forwarding address so that Mary can find him again. Sounds like she needs some serious help!
Wow! What a drama! Your AR Blog saved the day!
That is one really crazy story! At least the guy took the time to do some research and found you were good to work with.
Stephanie, that is a great story!! You had me on the edge of my seat. Another great recommendations for blogging as it turns out.
What a bizarre story! Just when you think you've heard it all, you hear something new like this one. There's something about Mary, for sure.
Stephanie, we get The good The Bad and The Wierd in this business but that story sure tops them all so far. How creepy... But congrats for your Listing!
Stephanie:
good thing your client was persistent and looked you up. That is such a strange story. I think Mary needs help.
That is hilarious... sad, but hilarious! I feel for the guy. He's going through a tough situation, and Mary doesn't make it any easier. Wow!
Great story! I hope Mary doesn't read these comments...
Yikes! Can't say as I've ever encountered THAT situation before.
Stephanie~ great post! I think you're right, we're always one blog away from a new customer! Keep blogging and have new customers!
Stephanie, that's a funny story in a very weird way. Keep blogging!
