What value do you add to separate yourself in business? For me as a Raleigh mortgage loan officer, I make time for my clients whether it is a home buyer, home owner, CPA or Realtor®.  I can easily pull credit, quote a rate and push the file through processing.  However, to me that is basic and not service because It's the clients expectation. 

Making the time to look at all aspects of my clients finances, goals and past experiences before determining how to structure their mortgage is "service".  Believe it or not there are multiple ways to structure a 30 year fixed rate mortgage and the wrong structure of this loan program will have lasting implications on their quality of life. 

Mortgage planning is a necessary element. Not only for the financial benefit but it conveys the message to your clients that you are competent and care aboout them.  Time is my most valuable asset and spending that time ensuring my customer is placed in the best position possible is the value I add to separate myself in business as a Raleigh mortgage loan officer.
