Oops, I have to take time out to get to work. It's been great communicating with you all here on ActiveRain.
I'll be back!!!
Have a wonderful day!
I just love your post. I have been glued to the TV watching all the events and have really been inspired. I like how you have chosen to take that inspiration personally and "pay it forward". Thanks!
Patricia,
You made the podium with this Gold Medal post!!! ;)
Go Olympics. Good post and good life lessons from sports. Thanks for the post.
Evening Patricia, I'm thrilled that " games : are going so well. Lots of inspirational stories !
Patricia, the inspiring stories resonant with me with every Olympics...dedication, determination and perseverance are the trademarks of the Games...good lessons for our children to learn...
Good words, Patricia.
Patricia, a great dedication to the Olympic winners and role models....we all need to use their determination as inspiration to us that all things are possible with commitment...You saw my story, so proud my son showed his Olympic spirit. I also have no doubt in your sincerity and dedication to serve buyers and sellers with your outstanding Olympic spirit!
Hi Patricia, great post that we will use to re-focus our prospecting.
Never giving up is a life sentence
for which there is no escape.
Very nice post.
wow, yes soo true! "Never give up"in real estate and in life. Great post!
Very inspirational!!!
Excellent post! There is not much more to say than what has already been said in the previous comments. As a self-confessed Olymp-aholic, I have learned so much by the compassion, good sportmanship & admiration that was shared from one to another no matter which country the athletics came from. Now if the rest of the world could do this everyday, what a wonderful place the earth would be.
The athletes demonstrated again that in order to achieve greatness one has to be focused, completely dedicated and never loose sight of the final goal... Their focus is an inspiration that can be carried over to whatever one wants to achieve...
Thanks for writing this blog!
Every 2 years as I watch with great enthusiasm, I am continually amazed at the dedication, perserverence and fight that these athletes demonstrate. Oh - and their familes too! My goodness. To hear their stories of blood, sweat and tears, brings tears to my eyes and new perspective of how hard I need to try to make my world better - like they have. Thank you athletes and thank you world for letting us enjoy the true strength & peace that the olympics brings.
Patricia- Excellent Post!!!!! I love watching the Olympics and this year was very special to see my 7 and 10 year glued to the tv and asking lots of questions. Some of them were about the different sports but then some were asking about the history of the different countries during the opening ceremony. This was an excellent opportunity for my husband and I to educate our kids to let them know how blessed we are to live in a wonderful and free country. Now with your outlook in real estates and what we took away from the Olympics and really made me think. I did not see it that way but now I do. I know these last few years in the mortgage industry has been a big change. Lots of focus on new guidelines in the industry and determination that I could do this, made me successed. I am so blessed to have support (FANS) from a great company, repeat clients, and Realtors to keep me motivated too! Best of luck to you Patricia.
Something else we learned from Phelps is not to get too cocky about things. Just because things are going really well for you, doesn't mean you should reject new ideas. We have to continue to learn and grow to get better.
Just popping by to see what you're up to...you must be busy...good to see. My biggest take away - NEVER GIVE UP...and keep on working and working and working on skills.
Patricia The beauty of our American Olympians is that they are a microcosm of many nationalities, ethnic and religious backgrounds all molded into a dynamic team of athletes - the only team like it in the world. It is a concept most of the countries f the world don't undestand.
