We aren't quite sure what's going on lately with sellers here in the Fort Wayne real estate market.  Amanda and I are both working with multiple buyers, and we both have noticed a trend that we aren't that fond of...  

SHOWINGS.

We get it, sometimes things come up.  Maybe one of the kids is sick, or maybe they have out of town visitors for the weekend.  

That said, if you have your home on the market, and you are seriously trying to sell, AND we send the showing request 48 hours in advance, please let us in.  

We can't sell your home if you won't let us show it.  I know this isn't TOP SECRET stuff, but it's a start.

You're going to be amazed by some of the comments on this post.  I opened up this can of worms in the spring and was shocked that so many in our business feel that sellers shouldn't have to comply with every showing and that buyers need to have the oweness to reschedule.  I personally think the oweness is on the seller. They have the product to sell.
