Williamsburg II Condos are located on the north side of E University Blvd at Matilda Street, in east Dallas Texas.  The complex has nice landscaping and is pretty. The complex is built with a brick that tends to appeal to a large number of people, a red brick that gives the buildings a warm and inviting look.  Each condo unit has a bay window in the formal living space.  The curve of that bay window helps to visually break up the long horizontal lines of the buildings.  Something else about the complex is that about 10 years ago, their board began a conscientious tree-planting plan that has resulted in the complex having a very nice assortment of trees.

The complex was built by the same company who built Sandhurst Manor, The Terrace, Sandhurst Plaza, Williamsburg I (aka Caruth Manor), Birchbrook Manor and Birchbrook II.  Of all of its sister properties, the one that it is most like is Sandhurst Manor.  For information on more complexes in the area of Central Market, click here

The entire complex has just one floorplan.  Each unit has two bedroom, two bathroom, 2 living area floor plan and two parking spaces. Each unit has very generous storage as well as a large outdoor space.  The units average about 1200 sq ft per unit.  The units are clustered in groups of 4 around a common stairway.  Each unit has a front door and a back door.  Both doors open into one of the common stairways.  There are coin-operated Maytag washer/sriers located in the back hallway, to be used by the 4 units that share that hall. 

The complex has pier-and-beam foundations.  The complex is responsible for repair of any foundation issue.  Each unit has its own heating and cooling unit, something that distinguishes Williamsburg from Sandhurst Manor.  The complex has a nice community swimming pool down on the extreme east end of the complex.

The complex rules limit the size of a dog that can move into the complex.  Exceptions to that rule have been made under very limited circumstances.

Parking can be an issue.  Each unit gets two spaces but one space is uncovered.  All the covered parking is on the north side of the complex.  The assigned spaces tend to be one in the covered area and one closer to the actual unit occupied. The complex is not gated.
