Brea is so cool! I love being involved with a community that finds value in art.
There are some beautiful pieces of are all around our city. One of the newest pieces is right in front of my favorite community... Olinda Ranch. This piece is called Red Tail Hawk. Here is something very cool that the City of Brea's newsletter is featuring this month.
"On January 18 and January 19, CNN Headline News: Local Editionwill air a segment featuring Brea's Art in Public Places Program. The segment will highlight art education activities that coincide with the installation of a new public sculpture, Red Tail Hawk, by sculptor Michael Stutz, at Olinda Ranch Park earlier this year, as well as the release of a DVD, produced by our Communications & Marketing Division which covers all of the events. Both the art education activities and the DVD were made possible through a grant awarded to the City by the National Endowment for the Arts. 
So, check out the Time Warner Cable listings, and set your DVR to catch the news segment on CNN. The Local Edition segment, which runs at 24 minutes and 54 minutes past the hour, will air several times during CNN Headline News (the segment will not run between the hours of 4:00 and 10:00p.m.) Or, it can be seen by accessing Video on Demand."
