Flooding across NJ

File:Cars over the water.JPGThese photos say it all. Deluges of rain have pummelled NJ for hours today, leaving a path of destruction.

The bad news - flooding all over the place. You know the rule - never drive through moving water (you can't tell how deep it is or how deep it will be). Turn around. There's no place you need to go that badly.

The good news - the storms that were predicted for tonight aren't in the forecast any more. Seems these storms were severe enough to clear out the system, so to speak.

So get out there and enjoy what's forecast to be a beautiful Friday night in Union County!

Hoping the water recedes quickly and not much damage is left behind.  The weather this year around the country has been so crazy.  July has been the hottest July on record!!  We either get severe drought or torrential rains.  We can send a man to the moon but have no power over the weather.  We need our scientists to figure out how to manipulate the weather!
