Motivational Power Quote
The Measure of Success
“He is rich or poor according to what he is not according to what he has.”
Henry Ward Beecher 1813- 1887, prominent congregationalist clerayman
As I see it . . . . . . .
The measure of success
Success can be interrupted in many ways.
For one person it will be based on the amount of income that they earn. To another it will be by the success of their investments or the amount of money they have.
While with others it could be the size of their home, or where the home is located. To others the score card of success would in how many homes they own.
For some success is seen in the type of car they drive.
Some people will judge their success based on financial aspect of their life.
For others success in their life is based on the family with strong family values. They see it in creating a footprint for their children to follow in and for there to have a good and productive life.
While other people will look at their life and living it based on their values and their faith.
The financial aspects of your life can change for the better or the worst at the drop of a hat. When money is the only score card to measure your success it doesn’t make you who are it’s only a measure of how much money you have in a point in time.
Money is a good thing to have and we can challenge to make more. It’s your motivation and hard work that will move you forward but it doesn’t make you who you are. It’s your drive and motivation that makes you who your are.
Strong personal values and faith makes the person who they are. In the challenging waters of life it’s your values and your faith that will pull you through and keeps you going.
The measure of success is found in your values and in your faith.
