I think I know but I may have an advantage cause I know of some of the plants on this property, so I'll be quiet for now.
Hi Mona,
What an interesting plant. Haven't a clue what it is but will check back tomorrow to see if someone did know what it was. Looks like something tropical! Have a great weekend!
Well you've got me stumped Mona, I have no idea, but at this time of the morning, I barely know my own name, sooooooooooo...............................
Good morning Mona. A new contest here? Pick the name of an odd or unusual plant? I have no idea but it looks like the pussy willow family. Enjoy the day.
Good morning and good guesses. Y'all must not have spent much time in the south but this bud is what the magnolia blossom looks like before it becomes all white, waxy and beautiful! Interestingly enough, the magnolias were blooming in May when Mom and I were in Montgomery, AL. Magnolias are just now starting to bloom here.
I would have never guessed Magnolia either Mona..............hey thanks for visiting Tony's blog. I know the verification is hideous and I mentioned it to him, he agrees, but there is nothing he can do about it.
Hi Roger, don't you think the Magnolia buds would make for attractive table arrangements? You're welcome and I hope Tony has great success with his site. I must have gone through a dozen verification things before I found one I could read!
Attractive table arrangements? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, in a word, NO! LOL. Interesting maybe. Now Magnolias, that's another story, they are gorgeous! Thanks again, I will tell Tony..............I appreciate your support on his blog.
