Having gone through a SERIOUS bout with depression over 30 years ago, I can recognize the signs of clutter - I have a MUCH BIGGER TRASH CAN now!

Clutter is an 8 letter word!  LOL  I am not a fan of clutter at all, it drives me nuts!  But some people just don't see it that way, it is just their things ;-)
