11 Comments on Military Relocation-Looking for Rental Property?
Cindy,
I will be PCSing to D.C. 01June am looking to rent in the lake barcroft subdivision. Lake acess is essential to me. What are the possibilities of renting a foreclosure from a bank, or renting a for sale property? I will be house hunting 26-27 march.
thanks
george
Thank you for your inquiry about rental property in Lake Barcroft. Lenders are not interested in renting properties out except in the few cases where there are already tenants in the property. Some lenders have placed a moratarium on evictions. There are not currently any properties listed for rent in Lake Barcroft and properties with direct water access are priced well over 1M for sale. Lake Barcroft is not a power boating lake so I'm not sure if this is one of the attributes you might be looking for in the area.
We have a beautiful house that will be available for rent on June 1, in the Vint Hill community of Warrenton/Gainsville. Quiet cul de sac, fenced yard, 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bath, bonus room and office, finished basement, 2 car garage, deck etc. etc. We are walking distance from the new FAA Headquarters site! It's a must see. We would be so pleased to have a military family rent this home. It can be viewed on rentals.com, in the Northern Virginia area.
Thanks!
Anne
Anne-thank you for letting me know about your property. I will certainly keep it in mind as I work with families coming into the area this spring.
My names Amanda Hursey. I have a husband in the service and two small children. I don't have the perfect credit score. I travel alot with my daughter for her doctor care so I'm on a tight family budget. The house where I live at, I have to be out of if by the end of the month. I'm looking for a three bedroom. I'm also asking to see if there was any way possible I can pro rate a few days before the first to move my housing goods in. I also wanted to see if there was any way possible that I could pay my first rent, pro rated days on the first. I was also wondering if I could pay my deposit on top of my rent monthly. I'm wiling to sign a 12 or more months lease. My husband is an E-5, and gets only paid once a month. If you could please email me back as soon as possible thanks. I'm desperately looking for a good place for my family and I. Amanda Hursey onetruwmn@yahoo.com
