A couple months ago we sold  a couple homes within a few blocks of each other in Brookfield.  For one home, we had the listing....and the other home the buyers....who were too late to buy the first house....but love their new home. Another neighbor called us the other night...."We saved your post card....can you list our house ?"  Mrs. Seller to Be said she knew we could provide her with the decorating assistance and mechanical once over we always do as a pre-listing....she had "heard all about it" from the neighbors...good job neighbors...gotta love those cheerleaders !

Hi Sally and David- This is a great post card! Very eye catching. It's great to hear of "snail mail" success. Makes me know consistency is key and to keep sending them out. Congrats on your new listing!

Sometimes we all forget the basics.  Years ago I stopped using a brochure box, because I became to much work to keep them filled and then sellers would freak out if it took a few days for me to get out to fill them.  Recently, I started using them again on my regular listings as more of a tool to get the listing and provide a little more than my competition.  First home, I received two phone calls for listing appointments because they like my brochure....

Back to basics.

Great cards! I never thought about selling these when I represent just the buyer. That's a great idea.

The Hansons do it again, thanks for sharing this Sally!  I also enjoy it when a client pulls out an old brochure or post card that they have been saving, sometimes for decades, just waiting for the time to be right to hire us again.

Hope to see you on the 31st.

Bob

Sally and David

This is a terrific postcard that conveys a wonderful message of success but also gives prospective sellers a glimpse of the type of work you do. No wonder you go that new call!

Morning Sally & David we all need to do some advertising but the best advertising is word of mouth.  Do a good job and word will spread.  Keep up with whatever kind of advertisement you want but give me the word of moth anytime.

Thank you all....I agree James....However....as a former marketing agency owner....what we always told people who said that was....."You have to get it in people's heads before the words can come out of their mouths".  Amen....and Women of course !
