TIME OUT
This morning my dogs were in terrible moods. They were growling and not minding so they all three went on “Time Out” for a couple of hours and their moods really improved greatly. This is not typical so I am thinking the storm last night and the meteor shower may have affected their dispositions. Like my mother used to say “they were full of “piss and vinegar”. Of the three pictures above, the one who would look at me was the guiltiest.
No matter what our occupation is, sometimes things just do not go smoothly and it is good to take a time out. Take a nap, surfing the web, getting your nails done, a quick shopping trip nearby, an iced coffee at your favorite coffee store, or just a few minutes alone with your door shut and no phone calls. I like to do crossword puzzles on the computer. Grab a diet coke and go to “Boatload of Puzzles” and do a couple of quick crossword puzzles and then I feel sooooooooooooooo much better. Then I am refreshed and ready to face the rest of the day with a new outlook on life and a much better mood.
