Palm Beach County Home Staging- Staging That’s Tailored to Fit Your Needs.

Selling your home in Palm Beach County-whether you’re in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach or points in-between can be stressful even in what to dothe best of circumstances.  You’re focused on changing jobs or schools, or even moving to another state.  And from what you’ve been told by your friends, the media and your Realtor, Buyers are looking for move-in ready homes.

Where and how do you begin to prepare your house for sale?

Room Service!Home Staging provides staging services that don’t come out of a pre-planned checklist or template.  Our consultation is made to fit your specific needs, budget, timeframe and, of course, your home.

The Beginning...

The Consultation- We begin by viewing your house... including the exterior, front and back, each room and yes, your garage.

*It is at this time that we take photographs so we can better see what the Buyer sees as they view your home.   Most Stagers will often take 100+ photos.

*Next, with your pencil and notebook in hand we begin at the beginning... we’ll start from what the Buyer will see as they approach your house.  We do this for each room or area, and the back yard, deck or patio area.

*We also tell you how to get it done!  Whether it’s a service to clean your windows or fill in your landscaping or finding an off-site storage area to hold your “extras”..... you will have the “what, how and where” to make your
house “Move-In Ready”.

*At the completion of the Consultation, which takes about 2 hours, many homeowners will schedule a time for us to return to either provide a hands-on staging or to make adjustments to what has been done|

* We also offer the additional service of a written consultation with pictures outlining our suggestions.

The Middle...

If you’re a DIY Seller, you will be working on items from our Consultation... items such as painting, replacing worn carpeting, and editing items that you no longer need or will be taking to your new home.

Room Service!Home Staging will be available to answer any questions even after your initial consultation.

The End...

Once your home is staged, we provide additional marketing for your property to supplement what your agent is doing.  This comes in the form of the Room Service!Home Staging e-Newsletter, covering over 500 local Realtors,  and our Home Staging blog which  reaches further than our local area.

Room Service! Home Staging can also be there to assist you with preparing your house for Open Houses.

Epilogue....

We’re still here for you... even when you call to say that you’ve sold your home.

Many of our sellers call us for ourNew Home Consultation.  Undecided on where to place your furniture... not sure about paint colors.... what updates can you make that will fit your budget and bring you the best Return On your  Investment.   Room Service!Home Staging can map out a game plan that is tailor made for you, your budget and your time frame.

Why us?....

* We do Not tell you what you have to do.    We will make our suggestions and recommendations but in the end it is still your house.

* However,  we will tell you (1) what we strongly urge you to do and (2)  offer advice on projects that fall in the  “it would so nice if you could do this” category.

* Our goal is the same as yours and your agents, and that is to sell your house for as much as is possible  and in as short a time frame as possible.

*  We are realistic and understand that it is not always practical  or feasible for our sellers to do everything we ask... perfection is not mandatory.

Room Service!Home Staging is the Home Staging company that many Realtors as well as homeowners call to guide them through this process whether it’s a Staging Consultation, Hands-on Staging or a combination of both.

Kathy, sellers will appreciate you don't tell them what to do, but offer suggestions and recommendations.

Kathy-What a great in depth look at what you do. It is quite a lot you do for people. Unless you were familiar with staging most people wouldn't begin to know all the work that goes into your job.

Harry- LP, Location and Condition those are key and if a seller wants top dollar.

Michael-I don't think anyone likes being told what to do, it's human nature, isn't it.

Sharon- thank you!! The "moving around of furniture" can't get started until the house has been cleaned, repairs made, the house painted, etc.

Richie- and I thank you!

John (QMan)- and a happy good morning to you!  I don't know if you have a Stager you use, but I'd bet they'd enjoy working with you and Debbie.

James- I have had a handful of homes where that could have been done.  First we get the basics (cleaning, editing, etc) done.

Pam- many thanks.  We're always explaining what we do.

Pat & Steve- many thanks!  I hope this will give homeowners some idea of what we do.

Scott- I try keeping their Realtor in the loop by letting them know what recommendations were made.

Jennifer- it's kind of like going to the doctor or dentist... we're often more afraid of what we don't know.

Jeffrey- We have Got to get Brevard closer to Palm Beach County!

Hi Kathy ~ We still need to educate consumers and REAs about what staging is and how we can help them ... and your post is very helpful doing that!

(By the way I noticed in the fine print your example of a report where it mentions about cleaning smudges off the inside of a front door ... if the door is painted with glossy or even semi-gloss paint, a Magic Eraser is not recommended as it will remove the gloss and leave a mark -- the box even warns of this.  Just wanted to mention that since a client of mine told me they used one and then had to repaint all their baseboard trims.  However they are FABULOUS for walls and lots of other places!)

Karen- I love your new profile picture!  Trust me... I would love to be out there.

Maureen- thanks for the info on the Magic Eraser.  i would love to produce more reports like this if the seller would be willing to pay for it.
