Bronson is about 10 miles east of Sioux City, Iowa.  Driving to Bronson, head east on Hwy 20 then south on K49.  It is quietly nestled on the edge of some hills.  The town of Bronson is a great place to rainse a family.  Bronson is home to the elementary school for the Lawton-Bronson School District.  Construction of a $9.2 million elementary school in Bronson has been approved.

Bronson has a population of 269 (2000 Census) with 103 housing units; and a population density of 825.02 people per sq. mile.  It is estimated that Bronson now has a population of 288.

Bronson has a 4th of July celebration with fireworks each year. It celebrated its centennial in 2003.
