Lenn, I started blogging in 2009 and have yet to run out of ideas to write about. I plan to write more community posts and the phone rings when I do. Of course, I have been busy with buyers this summer and many times I have posted and ran off to work. I enjoyed your post, it has great information about what works!
Lenn, you are averaging nearly 100 posts every month.. hearing from you that you are not blogging enough must be shocking to a lot of people.. . you are the biggest inspiration here and this posts proves it!
Gary. Indeed. We need the discipline to do just that. Business doesn't grow on trees.
Wanda. I've never run out of material either. Thank goodness.
Fernando. I confess. I've been slacking off. I realized it last Friday when I saw that I had only posted 2 posts for the week. I was out all weekend but it's time to get back to work.
Love this port Lenn. I find myself blogging for business first, and then blogging for comments and features second. Unlike so many others, I have time on my hands. While my wife and I are both productive and doing well in our real estate careers, we have no kids at home, and there are two of us. I have time for blogging for biz and for fun!
Business is the reason we are here. This post is timely for me. Thanks.
I am reminded of the laser beam which is really just concentrated light brought to bare. Focus and purpose when applied go to work...results follow after that...good post dear lady
Lenn,
there are some writers that make their business creations so very interesting and some times self revealing. After reading this post, I certainly feel that I know a little more about Lenn Harley the person... AND I can see why I would choose you to find me a home in Woodbridge, VA. Your knowledge of the area shines through your other posts too. Thanks for sharing.
I'm inspired to get cracking on neighborhood and localism posts. Good post, thank you!
I am, self-admittedly, a scattered blogger. I rarely "blog for business", and yet business finds me in the way of referrals from other Active Rain agents.
nice.
I had the same feeling this summer when I was so busy with buyers I was neglecting my blogging and I made a promise to myself right then that I would get back to doing community blogs and posting on neighborhoods. Consumers want to know what is out there so if we want the business we should be blogging to get it--nice reminder
Lenn:
No doubt about it. It is hard to maintain the balance between blogging for business and doing the business. Either one or the other takes precedence for me during a month.
Subscribed to your blog because you have come up on my radar several times and you always have something interesting to say.
As I said, Woodbridge is very popular and I go there 3 or 4 times a week.
There are many reasons for that business there, but price may be the biggest factor.
Jared. Same here. Lots of time and I start every early. I enjoy blogging so there's no stress or pressure.
Richard, Good for you.
Richie. Thank you sir.
Brad. Thanks very much. I am a research animal and it helps me understand the matter of real estate brokerage, which is a far more dynamic force than many realize.
Deb. Get busy.
Alan. You may not be blogging for business, but your ability and ethics are clear.
Marilyn. Same here. Let's get busy.
Evelyn. There is a synergy and once we understand it and Google, it's just a matter of discipline.
Tiffany. I hope so too.
Nan. I try. I'll check your blog too.
Jay. It's more than that. Location for the price is a big factor.
I have been a firm believer in blogging ever since the trend started way back when. It works, but I have been terribly negligent the past couple of years. I'm climbing back on the blogging wagon today and hope to see the results soon!
Mary Ann. With good titles, good content, few outgoing links and I bet you will.
Wow, Lenn! You put my 225 Subscriptions to shame with your 411! And I thought I was bad ...
Gene
Lenn - A reminder that I need to get back to blogging about areas as well. Thank you,
Gene. Lots of great folks on ActiveRain whose writings I follow, including YOU.
Christine. Get to work!!
