15 Comments on Looking for a Virginia Winery to Visit? Try Narmada.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Dolores and I will need to add this winery to our list of places to visit.
Have an outstanding week with your camera in hand.
Roy: You won't be disappointed. The scenery alone is worth the visit.
Hi Chris Ann - And I bet you're going to use the kids as an excuse for why you were at a Dukes of Hazzard event, right? I'd definitely need something like a winery after that - glad it was a good one. I'll definitely put it on my list for the next time I'm cruising the Virginia countryside.
Sounds like such a relaxing time, Chris Ann...I'm so glad you were able to enjoy it! I finally said to H&#! with it and took off to Charleston SC for the weekend with my husband. We all need to get away and have a relaxing time to re-energize. This winery looks awesome!
Hey Chris Ann, Now local winery sounds like a great time and yes it should be relaxing. Headed to Napa Valley in Oct for wine.
Good Morning Chris Ann, I have to stick with liking the Dukes of Hazzard but teh winery would have been a nice visit as well. You sure did go from one extreme to teh other though. Have a Great Tuesday.
The Narmada Winery sounds like a great place to unwind and relax Chris Ann, we need to do more of that.
Oh my, the Narmada Winery looks and sounds like a terrific place to spend an afternoon and explore some wines! Sounds like you guys had a great time and really enjoyed yourselves.
What a beautiful view and what a wonderful job you did, Chris Ann, in capturing that view. It's so picture perfect, with the winding road and manicured fields to the clouds against a blue backdrop. Narmada almost sounds like Narnia.
Hi Chris Ann. What a great way to decompress. Sitting on the deck with that view was the perfect choice.
Chris Ann, what a great way to spend the afternoon! I'm headed to the beach for a couple of days of R & R!
Dick: Not at all. The kids were hauled off to the event against their will. Grandma Marilyn got a last minute babysitting request.
Melissa: Charleston, SC is one of those places on my wish list to see. Never been.
Will: I wanted to hit the Napa Valley on a trip to California years ago, but we kept finding other stuff to do.
Scott: The Dukes of Hazzard event was a stitch. Such an odd collection of events and visitors. The winery was like snapping back into reality.
Al: It certainly is a great place to unwind and relax.
Elizabeth: Off in the distance there were guests with small kids that kept jumping in the lake. We asked if that was allowed, because Marilyn's grandkids wanted to do the same thing. Needless to say, that was NOT allowed and someone from the staff drove down and put an end to the frollicking in the water.
Carol Ann: What's not to love, right?
Connie: People in our profession should take frequent opportunities for down time.
Chris Ann - catching this post in the winter has more menaing (to me).. Here it is, freezing and cold, and upon reading how you were enjoying those summer breezes and wine .. it sort of transported me away to a different season. Thank you for sharing!
Gay: Those days will be back soon enough. Time passes quickly.
