November is just around the corner, and it's time to register to vote. If you recently moved, here are the steps to register:
Are you eligible to register?
You are IF you are a United States citizen and will be 18 years of age or over by the next election. You also need to be a resident of the county for 30 days before the election.
You are NOT eligible if you are serving a sentence or are on parole or probation as a result of a conviction under State or Federal law. After your conviction, parole, or probation, you must RE-REGISTER to vote.
How do you register?
Download and complete the Voter Registration Application and the Party Affiliation Form. Mail them to the County Commissioner of Registration of Elections. Registration forms are also available at the Division of Motor Vehicle Offices as well as some public libraries.
You'll receive a sample ballot about a week or two before the election. The sample ballot will tell you where to vote!
