I agree to what?
This is just too funny not to reblog. Wait until you get to the meat of this post, you'll simply shake your head at the lengths that some agents (or showing services) go through to convince themselves that they've come up with a trailblazing solution to an ongoing problem.
Feedback has come up again and again as a topic on Active Rain over the years. Agents either do, or don’t provide feedback, and frankly...I don’t think anyone’s minds have been changed by any of the arguments offered here. Personally, sometimes I do, and sometimes I don’t, depending on my mood.
With that in mind, I made an appointment to show a property last week through the showing service. I was sort of half listening to the instructions when she said, “by showing this property, you hereby agree to provide feedback to the listing agent.” Huh...you want to run that by me again.
I’m familiar with instructions for taking your shoes off, and don’t let the cat out, turn off all lights, don’t lock the deadbolt, but requiring me to provide feedback...I don’t think so.
I love these rogue agents who make up their own rules. Did I provide feedback? I wasn't in the mood.
