Capitol Crossing is a  multi-phase NW DC development with ownership of infilling air rights above the Center Leg Freeway (I-395) to be built on a platform over a recessed segment of the Interstate.

The District initially approved development of a platform over I-395 in 1990, with the expectation that it would re-connect F and G Streets between Second and Third Streets as originally conceived in L’Enfant’s master plan for the city.
