We are having another MeetUp on Aug 29, Wednesday, at 12 noon at Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs.
Rusty Bellies is on the west end of the Sponge Docks - west of the roundabout, keep going toward the water.

As we know from deer in the Sierra Nevada foothills, they can be serious plant chompers. Sometimes residents have a love-hate relationship with them, because of it! Yet, looking at the eyes and the little spots of that critter makes it difficult to have any mortal disdain against them. . .Especially when they are in someone else's yard:-)

Owls, deer, .... I do think I live in a too densely populated area!! One would never find either one of those in my backyard in Central Pinellas County. Pasco County and New Port Richey have tons of wildlife to offer, what a great photo!

Tanja - we live across from Starkey Preserve and we have a huge wooded area behind us. Lots of interesting critters.

Hi Toni, That deer really got up close to your house! Nice of her to stand still for the photo -- she must know she's photogenic!

Toni I find the deer are now rather fearless, they look at you as if to say, you are invading my space. Lovely shot.
