Wings of Fancy:  Butterfly Exhibit at Brookside Gardens

 

Dolores and I always enjoy our visits to Brookside Gardens which is located in the Wheaton Regional Park in Wheaton, Maryland.  The Conservatory exhibits are outstanding and the acres of gardens are beautiful.

 

Each summer, the Brookside Gardens South Conservatory is the location of the Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly and Caterpillar Exhibit.  We had our cameras in hand during a recent visit and will share some of the photographs with you.  The photographs in this post were taken by Dolores Kelley.

 

When you live in Montgomery County, Maryland, Brookside Gardens should be a a family resource for their educational programs and exhibits.

You do not need to have professional grade cameras to take excellent photographs.  Dolores took these photographs with a pocket camera.  However, the Canon PowerShot S90 is an outstanding camera that is easy to carry in a pocket or purse.  I use a little larger model, the Canon PowerShot G11 camera.
