I agree, foot traffic is important. If people don't experience a property it is unlikely that they will purchase the property.
I am a big fan of Open houses, but not to sell a property but to prospect for new clients. i like the idea of putting the signs out a day early to increase visibility.
Sharon -- a physical preview is manditory, just like a test drive before buying a car.
Laura -- Very true! It's a prospecting event!
Thanks for the comments.
All good recommendations Reuben. . is all about opportunity, image and presentation. .
All great tips, of course the local authorities have to ok the use of signs the day before. Here it wouldn;t work but getting someone into the home is still the best way to sell it.
Reuben, Very informative. Thanks for sharing these steps, no doubt you have helped many people. Blogs like this are one of the reason Active Rain is such a good place to share and learn.
Anything that will increase traffic is great! As we all know, sometimes a home that looks bad in photos turns out looking great in person and sometimes the great looking home online turns out to be a dog. (No offense to dogs, I have some really nice ones)
It is important to get the word out early in the week so you will have a good turnout for our hard efforts. Great flyers!
In my neck of the woods open houses are king. If I had to do only one thing it would be open house...no or low cost and they buyers come to you...how bad is that?
SPOT ON FRANK!!! Where else could you get the buyers to come to YOU??? It's amazing how some people don't believe in open houses!
