Greeley Park Art in the Park

   Enjoy the 59th Greeley Park Art Show to be held on Saturday August 18 and Sunday August 19 at Greeley Park which is located on Concord Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. 

 ! 

     The show is presented by the Nashua Area Artists Association and will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on both days.   

Parking and admission to the show is FREE

 

     The Greeley Park Art Show draws displaying artists from across New England.  On display will be artwork in diverse mediums such as oils, watercolors, acrylic, pastels, drawing, mixed media, jewelry, sculptures, photography and digital art.   Art work will be for sale with prices from under $20 to over $1,000.

In addition to the art show, there will be a classical guitar performance, free trolley rides between Main Street and Greeley Park and artist demonstrations. 

Judges will award various first and second place in each medium.  Winner will receive a cash prise, a gift certificate or a combination thereof.

On Sunday, there will be a student art competition.  Young artists can bring their framed or matted and ready to hang art work to the NAAAS sales tent between 9:e0 and 11:30 am along with a registration form.  Awards will be in four age groups -- 6-8, 10-12, 13-15 and 16-18.

I love art shows! I am an artist too. Maybe not as good as some but I have my special talents. I have missed the Houston Art Festival for several years in a row.  I hate that fact, it seems I always have something to do. Ahhh well maybe next year I will get lucky

George ~ I'm hoping to get to the art show.  One of our neighbors is going to be displaying his art from his trip to Africa!

Sussie ~  You will have to share some of your Art work with the AR family.  I would love to see it.

William ~  I love the "local" art.  New England definately provides a lot of color.

Karen ~  The Art Show at Greeley Park is very popular and I am sure there will be a lot of scenic paintings.
