I am not sure where this came from…Yogi Berra, one of the baseball greats of all time, is well renowned for his witticisms.
Yogi said "Baseball is ninety percent mental. The other half is physical."
If he were a real estate agent it could have easily been … Selling your house is ninety percent price. The other half is condition.
Yogi once said "In baseball, you don't know nothing."
Realtor® Yogi would probably say something like “In real estate, you don’t know nothing.”
Yogi said "The game isn't over until it's over. ”
Real estate Yogi would likely quip “The deal isn’t done till the closing agent says so!”
Yogi said "If people don't want to come out to the ballpark, how are you going to stop them?" but real estate agent Yogi could easily remark “If people don’t want to see your house, how are you going to stop them?”
And lastly, I wonder what the great Yogi would have say to his real estate agent?
The baseball great said "I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?"
Yogi the home seller could easily say this… I never blame myself when I’m not selling. I just blame the real estate agent and if it keeps up, I change agents. After all, I know it isn’t my fault when I’m not selling, how can I get mad at myself?
