10 Comments on Wow! Ice In The Garden In August!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That is much too soon Al & Peggy. I am still in warm mode!
Al & Peggy - Surely you receive enough of that white stuff in the winter! This is God's idea of a very bad joke. I suspect it disappeared moments later. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
Now, that is a surprise. We got down to 48 degrees the other night, but that's no where near leaving ice. Very strange weather indeed. The forecast here is calling for 102 tomorrow. It's rare to get into the 90s here.
Gretchen
Holy Cow Al & Peggy, what kind of weather system is going on in Ontario?
That is just too weird for words Al and Peggy............glad you showed a photo.............much too early.
Way too early for this Al & Peggy. Fall and Winter are just around the corner, but want to soak up some more sun for a little while more...
John we had a very hot and dry July, but August is making up for it rain wise.
We will be back in high temps today Wanda, but our poor tomato plants!
It did Sally but our gardens are a mess and our tomato plants look like they are struggling.
102 is too hot Gretchen, we'll send you our ice storm!
We don't know Tom, we just hope the old tomatoes make it.
Ice is gone now Roger, but what a mess left behind! Too much rain too quick!
We plan to Larry and Sheila, we just hope this isn't a warning of our winter!
Luckily we weren't in the area at the time, so cars are safe. It would have caused damage Valerie!
Al and Peggy, Those tomatoes look like they will recover... we could have used that ice last month...
